Calculators and tools

Small, free calculators for Canadian money questions. Every one shows its working, links the figures it uses to the government or Bank of Canada page they came from, and runs entirely in your browser — nothing you type is sent anywhere.

Imperium Post · Constants are checked against the primary source on the date shown at the foot of each tool · If a number looks wrong, the page tells you where it came from so you can check it yourself

How these tools are built

Each calculator holds its constants — contribution limits, thresholds, posted rates, announcement dates — in one block at the top of the page with the source URL and the date it was last checked, and the page prints that date at the bottom. Constants do not update automatically. Compare the dated assumptions with the linked source before relying on a result. Results are estimates for planning. The CRA, Service Canada, your lender or your bank calculates the real thing from your actual records, and nothing here is tax, legal or investment advice.
